About Us
Infrastructure done right the first time.
Iowa Structured Cabling LLC is a Des Moines contractor built on a simple standard: clean pathways, certified links, and documentation the next technician can follow after we leave.
Our Mission
Connecting Iowa with infrastructure you can trust.
Iowa Structured Cabling LLC was founded in Des Moines to solve a problem we kept walking into: unlabeled panels, untested links, and jobs that looked finished until the first outage. We built this company to be the opposite of that.
Today we design, install, terminate, test, label, and document copper and fiber systems for homes, small businesses, commercial facilities, schools, healthcare sites, government agencies, and general contractors across Iowa. The scope changes. The workmanship bar does not.
From a single cable drop to a multi-floor backbone, every project is run the same way — one point of contact, standards-based installation, certified testing, and a closeout package the owner can actually use.
Mission
Design, install, certify, and document copper and fiber infrastructure that Iowa owners, tenants, and facility managers can trust — clean pathways, tested links, and records the next technician can follow.
Vision
Be the default Des Moines-metro structured cabling partner for small-to-mid commercial work, and a credible statewide subcontractor on institutional, municipal, and specialty packages that require documented low-voltage workmanship.
How We Work
Survey. Install. Certify. Document.
Survey
On-site walkthrough, pathway review, and an itemized proposal. Most quotes are delivered within two business days.
Install
Clean routes, dressed bundles, and organized closets. After-hours work when operations cannot stop.
Certify
Permanent links tested to TIA-568 before the invoice goes out. Certified or it is not finished.
Document
TIA-606 labeling and an as-built package the next technician can follow without a phone call.
Values
Field decisions, not posters.
Safety first
OSHA-trained crews, documented site plans, and a stop-work rule when conditions are unsafe.
Craftsmanship
Dressed bundles, clean pathways, consistent labeling — work we will put our name on.
Accountability
One owner of the job. Honest schedules. Test results that prove the work.
Reliability
We show up when we say we will, and we answer after hours when it matters.
Same standard everywhere
A house drop and a commercial closet share the same workmanship bar.
Leadership
Owner-operated. Iowa-based.
Iowa Structured Cabling LLC is owned and led from Des Moines. Customers deal with principals who stay on the job from first site walk through closeout.
